Capability Health & Human Services

Capability Health & Human Services (“Capability”) was founded in 1976 as the Southern Nevada Association for the Handicapped.  Capability has used many names over the years, including the Nevada Association for the Handicapped, Endeavor and, most recently, Easter Seals Nevada.

In September 2019, the organization made the decision to rebrand as Capability Health & Human Services to better describe the services it provides to infants through seniors.  Capability remains a Nevada 501(c)(3) non-profit and there is no change to the organization’s amazing programs and services.

As Capability returns to its roots as a Nevada-focused non-profit, the organization is asking community members to please take some time to familiarize themselves with the new Capability website, and to learn more about the countless ways the organization provides critical health and human services throughout the State.
